Bais Yaakov 77th Annual Dinner Journal
Dear Friends, Good evening and welcome to Bais Yaakov’s Seventy-Seventh Anniversary Dinner. On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to thank each of you for attending this evening and showing your support for Bais Yaakov. Your presence strengthens and encourages those who carry out Bais Yaakov’s mission of providing a quality education to each and every girl in the Baltimore Jewish community. Your financial support makes it possible for the many dedicated Rabbaim, Moros, and teachers to continue their work in a warm and beautiful environment. I would like to thank the Principals, all of our administrators and teachers, for their hard work on behalf of our daughters. Your combined efforts have truly produced “Excellence in Education” at Bais Yaakov of Baltimore. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many hard-working individuals who made this evening such a success. The addition of many of our younger parent volunteers to the Board and this year’s Dinner Committee has contributed to making our school and this evening’s event a huge success. Bais Yaakov is very fortunate to have the special combination of the experience and history of the past seventy-seven years blended and coupled with the excitement and energy of our current parent body to form a team of individuals who are truly interested in the success of our Mosad. This evening is a perfect example of what makes this formula so successful. We pay tribute to the past efforts of individuals like Rabbi and Mrs. Reuven Savitz, whose work as Executive Director from 1964-1971 laid a solid foundation for our school’s future growth. Mr. and Mrs. Moshe and Tsippy Boehm are an example of Bais Yaakov parents who are truly concerned about the education of their daughters and ongoing success of our school. Mr. Mickey and Faige Katz are friends that I have seen grow to become leaders among their peers and in many community mosdos. Bais Yaakov is fortunate to have them as friends and supporters of the school. I would like to personally thank all three of these familes for their hard work and tremendous efforts. May Hashem bentch you with much Brocha and Hatzlacha. Dr. Shmuel Markovitz PRESIDENT 10
