GROWING TOGETHER DR. SHMUEL MARKOVITZ PRESIDENT בם”ד Dear Friends, Welcome to Bais Yaakov’s 75 the Anniversary Dinner. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Bais Yaakov, I would like to express a personal thank you for attending this important event and for your support. Your presence here this evening is an indication of your appreciation for the work of Bais Yaakov and is a great source of chizuk and pride for all who are dedicated to the success of each Bais Yaakov student. Your gifts will allow us to continue our mission of developing and enriching a wholesome bas Yisroel who is proud of her identity and has the skill and knowledge to succeed in her years beyond Bais Yaakov. Tonight’s worthy honorees represent the wholesomeness and richness of Bais Yaakov: It is with great sense of deep appreciation that we pay tribute this evening to Rabbi Freedman for all he put into Bais Yaakov. Under his inspired leadership the school saw tremendous growth and blossomed into the major institution of chinuch habanos it is today. It was a pleasure working so closely with you over the many years. During the past year the school suffered two enormous losses with the passing of Mrs. Laure Gutman, a”h, and Mrs. Elky Kleiner, a”h. Both of these special women were vital to the education of all our students, in and out of the classroom, leaving their own mark on each of our girls. Bais Yaakov and the community at large misses them greatly. On this night, we also pay tribute and say thank you to Mrs. Bailke Blumberg and Mrs. Shoshana Shuman for their many years of dedicated service to our school. And of course our "year round" honorees, Parents, Teachers, and supporters. Thank you for allowing me to serve you and I look forward to working together and ensuring that every Bais Yaakov student is given the greatest chance to succeed.
