ANNIVERSARY DINNER In Honor Of R ABBI M ENDEL D. F REEDMAN , שליט"א With mixed emotions, we write this ad to celebrate your years of leadership in Bais Yaakov. Few of us have been with you for your entire tenure, but all of us are the beneficiaries of your sincere concern, attention to detail, love of every student and support of every staff member. How fortunate are we to have worked and learned in your Bais Yaakov! As the world of chinuch habanos changed, you were never afraid to move Bais Yaakov of Baltimore forward to be the guiding light at the forefront of education. We have each grown professionally as teachers and adminstrators with your unceasing guidance and support. From your eagerness to welcome our Nursery "Imahos" with their baby dolls to register for Preschool to serving as the "Bas Kol" over the loud speaker during Parshas Noach, we in the Preschool, have felt uplifted and recognized as the "Gateway" to the school. When a child needed an accommodation, they could have no stronger advocate than you, Rabbi Freedman. A phone call, a school visit, a check to cover the esessentials for a family for Shabbos - there was no end to the chessed you'd arrange for our students and their families. You are a walking nes - a walking embodiment of emunah and koach and persistence. What a lesson for each of us and especially our girls. When an easy path opened, you turned away and chose the path of challenge to continue to lead Bais Yaakov of Baltimore into the 21st Century. We are here and successful due to your belief in what we do. May you enjoy good health and every bracha to enjoy your time learning and with your family.
